MCVFRA President Honored

March 14, 2014 – At the Annual Public Safety Awards luncheon, the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce  honored MCVFRA President Marcine Goodloe by bestowing  upon her the Chief Leslie B. Thompson Community Service Award. The award is a recognition of an individual’s volunteer dedication and initiative above and beyond the call of duty over a period of time that has affected and benefited the citizens of Montgomery County and beyond.

Mrs. Goodloe has served as the president of the MCVFRA since 2004 and is the first woman to serve in that position during the Association’s 90+ year history. The Chamber also recognized her for having worked with the Public Safety Awards Committee since its inception 40 years ago.
